Coast Guard, port partners safely escort Space Shuttle Enterprise to Manhattan-based museum (PHOTOS AVAILABLE)
NEW YORK – Coast Guard boat crews working closely with their port partners safely escorted the Space Shuttle Enterprise though New York Harbor to its new home at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in Manhattan, Wednesday, June 6, 2012.
The Enterprise, the first Space Shuttle orbiter built for NASA, will be housed at the museum and is scheduled to be a new exhibit there.
