During the ceremony, Radakovich assumed the duties and responsibilities of officer-in-charge from Chief Petty Officer Patrick Owens.

CLEVELAND — The crew of Coast Guard Station Cleveland Harbor, Ohio, stands at parade rest during the Station Cleveland Harbor change-of-command-ceremony, June 22, 2012.

During the ceremony, Chief Petty Officer Rudy Radakovich assumed the duties of officer-in-charge of Station Cleveland Harbor.

The change-of-command ceremony is a time-honored tradition that formally transfers command authority and responsibility to the new officer-in-charge.
