**Photo Release** Wildlife rehabilitation continues in Port Arthur

PORT ARTHUR, Texas - A brown pelican that was recovered during oil spill response operations in Port Arthur is released Feb. 3, 2009, near the Old River Wildlife Management Area after the bird was cleaned and rehabilitated. Oiled wildlife recovered during an incident are given time to rest, then are washed, dried, warmed, fed and medicated as needed. Wildlife Response Services (www.wildliferesponse.net) is providing the rehabilitation for animals affected by the spill. Since the beginning of the incident, Jan. 23, 2009, four birds have been released and two remain under care. U.S. Coast Guard photo.
