Media Advisory
WASHINGTON — Media are invited to ride the Coast Guard’s newest National Security Cutter, Stratton, on its transit from the waters off Annapolis, Md., to the pier in downtown Baltimore, Nov 1.
A water shuttle for media will leave from Coast Guard Station Annapolis at approximately 8:15 a.m. and meet the cutter offshore at approximately 9 a.m., before Stratton heads to Baltimore.
Media will have the opportunity to tour the ship in transit and talk to crewmembers.
Stratton will moor up in Baltimore at approximately 1:30 p.m. and a van will take media back to their vehicles at Station Annapolis. Participants are also welcome to arrange for their own transportion back to the station.
