WASHINGTON — Company security officers representing United States ship owners and operators affected by the issuance of Maritime Security Directive 104-6 (rev. 2) entitled, Guidelines for U.S. Vessels Operating in High Risk Waters, met with the Coast Guard's Chief of Vessel Activities Monday, to discuss issues associated with the new directive.
In light of continued interest in Maritime Security Directive 104-6 (rev. 2) and to discuss the results of Monday's meeting, the Coast Guard will host a media roundtable scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m., Tuesday. The roundtable is scheduled for one hour.
WHAT: Media roundtable with Capt. Eric Christensen, U.S. Coast Guard chief of vessel activities, to discuss Maritime Security Directive 104-6 (rev. 2) entitled, Guidelines for U.S. Vessels Operating in High Risk Waters and items of discussion from Monday's meeting with company security officers representing U.S. ship owners and operators.
