SECRETARY NAPOLITANO AND U.S. COAST GUARD COMMANDANT ADMIRAL ROBERT PAPP TO HONOR VETERANS AT A WREATH LAYING CEREMONY

WASHINGTON—Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano will join U.S. Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Robert J. Papp, Jr., on Thursday, Nov. 11, to honor veterans in a wreath laying ceremony and deliver brief remarks at the Coast Guard World War I Memorial in Arlington National Cemetery.

The memorial was originally constructed to remember the crews of the Coast Guard cutters Seneca and Tampa—lost within five days of one another in September 1918—and includes the names of all Coast Guard personnel who lost their lives during World War I.

When: Thursday, Nov. 11, 1 p.m.

Who: Secretary Napolitano and Commandant Papp will participate in a Veterans Day Wreath Laying Ceremony.

Where: Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C.
