As I always say, I’m pretty picky with fragrances but when I find one I love, I become obsessed.

I have both the Diptyque Vetyverio Eau De Toilette (£55) and the Diptyque Vetyver Candle (£40) – both very luxe buys. The perfume is definitely my top fragrance, I wear it most days and it’s a beautiful all year round scent as it’s so balanced – a mix of a woody, masculine notes with hints of floral for good measure. I would say this is one for those who like musky fragrances, it’s warm and a little spicy but with a very delicate edge. I feel like it’s so sophisticated and such a charming scent.

The candle is very similar I have to say, perhaps a little more crisp but still very musky and inviting. This is my second Vetyver candle and I haven’t even lit it yet (I have a candle backlog right now), yet I can smell it so well even unlit. The base notes of vetyver, juniper and cedarwood make it a lovely autumnal scent, although I have to admit that I think it smells divine at any point in the year!

Splurging £40 on a candle is something I won’t do very much, as it’s literally burning money, so I tend to ask for both for Christmas/birthdays as they do make the perfect gift. Guilt-free options. I think it is a little slice of luxury that we all deserve though, there’s just something so relaxing about burning a scented candle!

Have you tried any of the Diptyque scents?

I’ve mentioned my love for the Diptyque vetyver-scented fragrances quite a few times; although I…

[9
