I decided to treat my two-day hangover (a real life phenomenon that happens over the age of 23, be prepared) with a few of my favourite products, in order to feel revived and a little more like myself.

I started with a new release that I am looooving; Origins Clear Improvement Detoxifying Charcoal Body Scrub, £25 – anything with the word “detox” in the name is sure to work, right? Origins are granting my wish and releasing more amazing body products, and I have to tell you – this stuff is a winner. It gently but effectively polishes the skin and really leaves it looking healthy and glowing. My skin feels unbelievable after use! I love this kind of thick scrub that lathers up a little, so satisfying!
I followed this up with the equally as amazing Aurelia Dry Body Oil, £48. This is an all-natural concoction that locks in moisture and leaves skin feeling incredible. I love Aurelia as a brand and their products never leave me disappointed. I applied this liberally while binge-watching Grey’s Anatomy and it felt good. Such a Sunday skin treat.

As for my face, well it got the same treatment as my body – a lovely mask to start, followed by some serious TLC. I keep talking about the Aesop Exfoliating Paste, £35 but good heavens, this stuff is up there in my top skincare finds. There’s just something about it that makes it oh so amazing. My skin absolutely loves it, for starters – my complexion looks clearer, blackheads have been reduced and my skin is brighter than ever. A must have!

I then got stuck in with the May Lindstrom Problem Solver Mask, £65. This is a rather luxe purchase, I had been eyeing it up for some time before the Cult Beauty girls sent it my way. Honestly, it’s pretty amazing stuff – if you don’t mind parting with the cash. It’s in a powder formula, and you just mix it up with water (or honey to cleanse, or natural yoghurt to hydrate) as and when you need it. It means it doesn’t go off, and it lasts for years as it’s such a large size. I mix it with water and a bit of coconut oil and my skin is always amazing afterwards. A great one for blemish prone skin, and something I always reach for after a long week! Full review here.

Finally, I applied a new product I’ve been using lately; the Erborian Dongbaek Camellia Essence, £65. My skin loves facial oils, and I adore Erborian as a brand so I knew this would be a hit. It’s light and silky, instantly hydrating and it seems to be working wonders on my skin. I’ll know more in due course, so hang in there for a full review!

What does your post-weekend lineup include?

[5
