I plan on making an insert for most holidays\/seasons. I bought several coffee mugs that you can decorate inserts for at the dollar store last year and never used them. I later found larger, name brand mugs(pictured below) on clearance for $4 at Target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each year we try to do some handmade gifts for my parents and aunts(and Daddy and I!). I scoured the internet for hand\/footprint ideas. I chose Santa for Evan&#8217;s hand, A reindeer for Isabella&#8217;s hand, and a Christmas tree for Kallie Jane&#8217;s foot(I thought it would be too easy to mess up a handprint with a baby).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I used green scrapbook paper and cut it out to match the sizes I would need. I painted their hands\/feet the color needed and gently placed them on paper. I then added a white dot on Santa&#8217;s hat, a red dot for the Reindeer nose, 3 differe dots in the antlers for lights, and a start at the top of the tree.
