Its no secret that I live in the south and it never gets really<\/em> cold here. As a matter of fact, I’m sitting outside typing this, two days before Thanksgiving – in a tank-top! As a result, we stay outdoors as much as possible and my kids are always excited when we get new toys to play with outside. HearthSong recently sent us the Rocking Seesaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rock on! As many as three children can have a rockin’ good time aboard this great seesaw that combines two favorite children’s rides-a good-old-fashioned teeter totter and a rocking chair-to create a little extra excitement and a lot more fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expertly crafted from durable weather-resistant metal with rubber-padded rockers, comfy seats and sturdy handlebars, it will provide years of exuberant riding fun indoors or out, on a soft surface.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For ages 18 months+ to 8 years+.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maximum weight is 140lbs total or 70lbs for each seat.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This one came with several pieces, so my husband and I worked together to get the Seesaw set up. It took us about 30 minutes or so.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We mostly used this inside, but recently ran out of space so we took it outside. I’m a little worried about the foam pieces that cover the metal rockers, so I have been making sure we put it in the shed. The metal is supposed to be weather-resistant, but I think the foam might tear or get yuck if left out in the rain(or where my dog can get it).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isabella is only 15 months, so she’s still a little too wobbly for this. Before I know it, they’ll weigh close to the same thing and can ride it together. For now, Evan just plays on it with the neighborhood kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evan and the neighborhood kids have spent a lot of time rocking on this seesaw. It can hold up to 140 pounds, so 3 of them can play at the same time. One sits in the middle while two are on either side. With such a high weight limit, this is a toy that kids can play with for many years before outgrowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
