We’ve had other water tables, but our dog is on a mission to destroy all of our outdoor toys. I like that this one has two sides and is large enough for both kids to play without getting in each others way.

Features:

Includes cover that fits either side, separating the sand from the water and can be used separately or together for added play
Combine the water tower and mountain to create a waterfall
Includes 5 piece accessory set: water tower with slide, spinner and removable cup, shark scoop, and shovel/rake
Drain plug also included
Holds up to 30 lbs. (13.61 kg) of sand and up to 3 gal (15 L) of water

I was able to put it together in less than 5 minutes. The legs simply snap into place and the tower is the only other part to assemble. The instructions had pictures but they were close ups and it was hard to tell which piece went where on the tower. I ended up looking at the picture on the box to figure it out. This is what it looks like right out of the box.

My kids like to cover the sand side to make a mountain for the water to flow down from. I know my kids would just mix the water and sand to make one big mess, so I am just using it as one big water table right now. We can open both sides up and fill them with water. We can also take sand from our sandbox to fill it with sand during cooler months. The picture below shows a little boy playing on the sand side and the water side is covered so that he won’t get sand in it. There are also cup holders so my kids can stay hydrated during our hot southern days.

My kids have been playing with the Step2 Splash & Scoop Bay every day.
