Recently I\u2019ve been all about bronzed eyes, I find that most dark shadows are too harsh on my eyes, but bronze seems to define without making them smaller. The slightly cooler coppery tones are my favourite, they work best with my skin tone and eye colour and give a really polished result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rather than washing a bronze shade all over the lids, I tend to go for a champagne colour here \u2013 usually Stila Kitten Powder Shadow (\u00a313) which is my typical day to day colour. I find that this does enough without being obvious, it\u2019s flattering yet subtle and really opens the eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then on the bottom lashes I smudge in a bit of badass bronze; I usually use the Stila In The Light palette (\u00a325) as it\u2019s one of my favourites and it has the Kitten shade I\u2019m so fond of. I take the Liz Earle Blend and Contour Brush (\u00a312.50), which is the best for smudging and blending in my opinion, and use a little of Gilded Gold and sometimes a touch of Sunset to lightly blend in to the lower lashes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The result isn\u2019t dramatic or harsh, my eyes look awakened and bold but without loads of makeup, and the touch of shimmer helps to dazzle and brighten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another product that I adore for achieving a gorgeous hint of bronze is the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Golden Bronze (\u00a320), these are so creamy so they apply beautifully \u2013 and it takes just seconds. I use the stick straight on the lower lash line and then smudge out with the Liz Earle brush or even a finger \u2013 how easy?! It\u2019s my effortless everyday routine right now, and I love it for both day and night.
Slick on a good helping of mascara and you\u2019re set!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
