I wanted to wait until you could go in and smell it on counter, though – no point tormenting you.

The latest Jo Malone addition is the beautiful Wood Sage & Sea Salt collection – a scent inspired by the English seaside; think rugged grass, salty sea air and a harsh breeze! It has completely captured childhood days out at the seaside, there’s a delicious ‘sea air’ note to the fragrance that can’t be missed.

Interestingly, this is the only Jo Malone fragrance that doesn’t contain a single floral note. I’m definitely a sweet, floral person so I was surprised when I fell in love with this – long time readers will know that I’m very picky when it comes to my scents.

This is quite a woody fragrance, it’s got that androgynous feel that I really love in a scent – and it’s actually a unisex fragrance. It’s quite musky, but quite earthy from the sage and there’s also the lovely salty scent thrown in. You will know what I mean when you give it a whiff!

I’ve included some of the polaroids from the promo shoot above because they’re super pretty – that huge bottle is divine. I don’t even know where I would put it if they happened to start selling it, but I know I would make space. I would probably bathe in it.

I have the Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt 100ml Cologne (£82) and the Wood Sage & Sea Salt Body Creme (£50) – both are delicious, and so wearable all year round. I tend to layer up the body cream on my wrists and then spritz on some of the cologne for serious staying power!

The collection hits counters on the 1st September, so form an orderly queue! The brand are also using teal tissue and putting rope on the boxes and bags instead of ribbon – I just can’t, too much pretty happening right now.

In celebration of the new release, Jo Malone are offering you the chance to try the scent and send a postcard to friends and family – so you can really get that British holiday feel! You can do this online here. How quaint.

Will you be giving this a whiff?

[9
