This has to be one of my favourite scents, I\u2019m actually almost out of it as I keep spritzing it on. I love the musky, masculine notes of the two vetiver plants which are balanced out by the grapefruit, bergamot (a favourite of mine) and mandarin. I always know if a fragrance has vetiver or bergamot in it, I\u2019m bound to love it. This works really well layered with fruity, floral or too-sickly scents, it really plays down the sweet notes. I will definitely be repurchasing another bottle, it\u2019s just beautiful \u2013 and it lasts so well on my skin and clothes for an EDT. I loved this a little more as an A\/W fragrance but it\u2019s nice in the evening in summer too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stella McCartney Stella EDP, \u00a339.50<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I love everything about this beautiful fragrance, especially the adorable limited edition bottle! This has notes of rose, peony and mandarin essence \u2013 which sounds like it\u2019s going to be very \u2018young\u2019 but it\u2019s actually so chic and sophisticated. I feel like this is the perfect everyday fragrance as it\u2019s not too offensive, it\u2019s light but noticeable and very charming. I also think it works well when worn all year round, it\u2019s not too fresh and not too musky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream EDT, \u00a352<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I have just about every version of Marc Jacobs Daisy going, so of course the latest release was going to end up in my hands. I think we\u2019ve all swooned over that perfect bottle, it\u2019s just too pretty! I feel like this is a more grown-up version of the original Daisy\u2019s, it\u2019s very fruity \u2013 with notes of grapefruit, blackberry and pear \u2013 and is a little less sweet than the original offerings. I really like it, I think it\u2019s beautiful both alone and layered up with something less fruity. Even if you\u2019re not a huge fan of Daisy, I think you would probably adore this \u2013 so easy to wear as an everyday fragrance and quite a good option for all year round wear too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede, \u00a340<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This little lovely seems to be everyone\u2019s favourite \u2013 I just adore peonies so I guess this was always going to be a favourite of mine. I love layered this up with more musky, woody scents as I think it takes away some of the sweetness for an evening scent \u2013 but during the day I tend to just wear it alone. With notes of red apple, jasmine and rose, this is one for the crisp, fruity and floral lovers. It really is such a delicious combination of notes and I\u2019ve been wearing it a lot over the last six months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Aerin Waterlily Sun, \u00a385<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This gorgeous perfume isn\u2019t actually launching until next month, as part of the brands autumn collection \u2013 but I just had to include it. I never usually fall in love with fragrances straight away, but this is just heavenly. It\u2019s very fresh, I like how light it is and how it has this balance of fruit and floral in there. I definitely recommend this if you like a little bit of musk and perhaps something a bit different.
