I think we all need to take a minute, find a comfortable seat and really appreciate the beauty of my new Oasis boots. Really take \u2018em in, ladies \u2013 don\u2019t miss that gorgeous gold detail around the toe, now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These boots signify my move into adulthood \u2013 my first pair of big girl boots. Sure, I\u2019ve had other boots \u2013 flimsy ones from the New Look kids section, or perhaps a sale Office pair back in my student days \u2013 but never full price, real leather, gold zip, two-tone ankle boots. Oh no.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I spied this sexy pair in Oasis months ago, and I was instantly smitten. The Joey Zip Boot (\u00a370) offers everything I want from a shoe; a good heel, sturdy shape and gorgeous details that leave me breathless (this is starting to sound like the shoe fetish version of \u201950 Shades of Grey\u2019 \u2013 sorry). I snapped them up last week and my life hasn\u2019t been the same since. I\u2019m actually eyeing up the flat version here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I plan to wear these babies with everything \u2013 jeans and thick socks, leggings on lazy days, maxi skirts and cropped jumpers, bare legs in spring\u2026 the list goes on. They fit beautifully, though I did size up as I am an exact five and a half, so I went for a six but I actually prefer having lots of room for snug cat socks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I ordered online because they only had a damaged display pair in my local store, but the new \u2018Seek & Send\u2019 service worked out well. Basically, I think they search for stock in stores and send them out to you, if they don\u2019t have them in stock in the main warehouse. It\u2019s pretty ideal since I managed to nab myself a pair when they technically should have been sold out. Win!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
