Discover Boating Ambassador – Making Lifelong Memories #MC

I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Discover Boating. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

We have always enjoyed being on the water. I grew up near a lake, and we actually live on the lake now. We completely gutted and remodeled this house to make my dream of living on the lake a reality. Below is the first picture I ever took off the dock when we were viewing the house. My husband and I bought our first ski boat 4 years ago. We love being able to have it at the dock in our backyard instead of packing everything up every Saturday and heading to a landing to put in.

The first summer was spent remodeling, but last summer(and of course, this summer) we got to enjoy lake living at it’s finest. The kids and I are out swimming off of the dock pretty much daily, but nothing beats being on the boat. Family comes over pretty much every weekend and we go boating Saturdays and Sundays. We have all learned to do water sports and are going to get a bigger wakeboarding boat next summer(our group of family and friends keeps growing). Evan actually learned how to wakeboard already this summer!

Father’s Day is this Sunday, and we will definitely be out on the boat and hanging out on the dock. In honor of Father’s Day, this is my daddy riding from the back of our boat about two years ago. My daddy will never grow up, and I look forward to many more years of making memories on our boats.
