Wordless Wednesday – Redneck Snowmobile

We usually only get a significant amount of snow(over 4 inches) every 5 or more years. This past year has been different. It has snowed 3 times in the past 12 months with 2 of those times being a significant amount. Since we rarely get it, our state is not prepared with salt, sand, and snowplows, so most businesses and all schools are closed. We also don’t have snow sleds or any other “snow toys”.

It snowed a few days ago and “redneck ideas” usually occur when you have several people standing around with vast resources. If there is a trash pile close by, you usually get a lot of “Hey, I wonder what would happen if we do _ with the” kind of ideas. Since we were out for two days, we had a lot of those ideas.

THIS was was on a trash pile in my cousin’s field and after using a pair of water skis in the snow, they decided to screw them to the bottom of this old, nasty couch that had been sitting in the trash pile waiting to be burned.
