Little Tikes Cozy Coupe Sport + Giveaway

Little tikes provided us with the Cozy Coupe Sport to facilitate this review.

My, oh my, how things change. The new Cozy Coupe Sport by Little Tikes is awesome! My two older children are 9 and 7, so it has been a few years since we had a cozy coupe – I love the new features. The Cozy Coupe Sport arrived in pieces, but get this, there were NO TOOLS REQUIRED. It’s still made out of the same super durable plastic, and the same sturdy wheels. Everything now just snaps into place.

My husband was gone with my son at baseball so I decided to tackle this on my own. Everything went together pretty smoothly. There truly were no “real” tools needed, although they did provide you with a plastic tool to make the job easier. I had it all together in about 20mins, but I wasn’t strong enough to push the top bars into place completely. They give you a “helpful tip” to rub dish soap on the pieces to help them slide together easier, and my husband had no problem pushing them into place. Once it was together we started noticing the all the new features. The wheels now have a rubber strip down the middle which gives the car much better traction and less of the loud noise while rolling on the sidewalk.

Another feature is that there is now a fold up handle. No more sore back from trying to bend over and push the car! This is super handy if your child is too small to push the car on their own, or if you’re trying to keep them heading in a certain direction. The car can now be used for family walks in place of a stroller.

When not in use, the handle folds down into the car and completely disguises itself as an accent piece.

The best feature of the new Cozy Coupe Sport is the removable floor. So many times I remember my older children being pushed and their feet getting caught up under the car. Now when the child is going to be pushed, you can insert the floor.

When they want to propel with their feet, you can remove the floor. It’s so easy the child can do it on their own.

The Cozy Coupe Sport has two working doors, and of course, the beloved squeaky horn.

There is also a molded cup holder in the back where your child can put their sippy cup for long walks or hot days.

Add in the cool “moon roof” and your child is cruising in style. The Cozy Coupe Car has been a favorite toy with kids for a long time. With these new features, I feel that every “issue” I had with the old Cozy Coupe has been addressed. I think with updating all these new features, Little Tikes has ensured the Cozy Coupe Sport will stand the test of time, and continue to be a favorite childhood toy.
