Most of our family has summer birthdays, which means lots of party planning in my near future. SUBWAY sent us a gift card to try our their Catering options as well as a gift card to Party City for supplies. My baby sister turned 17 last week, so we celebrated her birthday on Saturday. SUBWAY Catering took the guesswork out of what we would do about food. We got two of these delicious platters.
Ordering from SUBWAY was extremely easy. I called in my order that morning so that it would be ready for my husband to swing by and pick up. You can get a giant sub or order the platters like we did. You can pick the bread, type of sub, and anything else you may want on them. We were going to eat them right away, so we had them made with everything on it, but you can have the condiments put on the side.
The platters came with lids and were perfect for just sitting out so guests could grab whichever combination they wanted. We had 12 people, so we ordered two platters. This was more than enough food with plenty left over.
EVERYONE loves SUBWAY at our house, so these platters were a huge hit. Even the dog was begging for some.
Normally we do something like hamburgers, but ordering from SUBWAY made planning easy. We didn’t have to worry about cooking, so we had more time for fun. Here is the birthday girl – Happy Birthday Grace!
The only things I had to do was decorate and make a cake. Grace doesn’t like cake, so I was able to make and decorate her a cookie cake in no time at all. This was truly a stress free party.
Party City has an amazing selection of products that will make your party look fantastic. I personally feel like summer parties are a breeze to decorate for. Use beach balls and balloons for decorations on railings, hula skirts around tables, and grab some cute plates/napkins/cutlery.
