Daily Makeup Autumn Edition.

DAILY MAKEUP AUTUMN EDITION.

My daily makeup has officially taken an autumn turn! Berry lips, smokey eyes and dewy skin are my kinda thing come this time of year, and so here’s a full rundown of the products I’ve been using…

I’m well and truly addicted to Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation (£32), it’s one of those products that seems to work for everyone, promising the same great results no matter what you skin type or tone. I feel like this has a really dreamy finish, not too matte, not too dewy, so you can kind of customise it to make it your own. I tend to blend it out quite a bit, so it looks natural and yet so perfected. Then I apply a little of the Topshop Glow Highlighter in Gleam (£9) on my cheekbones, brow bone etc. – it adds just the right amount of radiance and always bring my makeup to life.

I feel like I’ve mentioned the Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blusher in First Love (£32) quite a lot lately, but it really is the most divine autumn hue. I love the mix of tones and finishes, there’s a sort of satin-finish, rosy hue in the middle and a shimmery highlight on the outside – when swirled together they give a lovely flush to the skin.

Of course, the Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette (£20) is still number one in my collection – I love sweeping over the lighter shades on my lids, and then smoking it up by smudging in a darker shade on my lash line – it’s my daily look and I can’t get enough of it.

I’m having a Burberry makeup moment at present, as their autumn collection is just beautiful. I tend to stick to only neutral hues around my eyes, but lately I haven’t been able to resist the Burberry Effortless Kohl Liner in Pale Grape (£18.50). I never thought I’d switch to a tinted eyeliner, but it really brings out my eyes, and it’s a lot softer than black. I think I’ll start wearing more subtle tinted liners as they do a lot for a look.

I follow this up by applying lashings of the Burberry Bold Lash Mascara (£23) – my absolute favourite mascara at the moment as it promises absolutely humongous lashes! Everything from the brush to the packaging and the formula is just dreamy. Long-wearing, holds the curl and it’s easy to remove – what’s not to love?

Finally, I applied a touch of the Burberry Lip Mist in Oxblood (£22.50), never have I found something so creamy and so pigmented! I think this is one of the best lip formulas I’ve come across, it really is just perfect. The colour is so effortless, making it super easy to pull off – I expect to be wearing this daily!
