Who would like a little rummage through my makeup bag? I have a few uhhmazing beauty bits that I have discovered or rediscovered lately, although this month’s selection isn’t too far from last month’s picks.
I have to say that I’m struggling to use anything else but this NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser (£29), it’s just dreamy. My skin is horrendous at the moment, I have a few blemishes here and there but I hate caking on my base. This is why the NARS offering is so great, it conceals and perfects yet looks light and dewy on the skin. I wouldn’t have thought I would ever be using a tinted moisturiser – especially with my skin looking how it is – but I can’t fault this perfectly packaged little tube.
The NARS TM goes hand in hand with another complexion-enhancing wonder I’ve been reaching for everyday; the Guerlain Meteorites Pearls (£33.75), not only are these finishing pearls the prettiest product I own, they also really help to keep the skin looking lovely. The combination of colours in the tin all have their own job; some to neutralise redness, others to brighten or even. I have the ‘medium’ shade, which is ideal for keeping skin fresh, glowing and imperfection-free.
As for eyes, I’ve been reaching for the Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in Birthday Suit (£15.50) and lining my eyes with the brilliant Collection Fast Stroke Liner (£2.99) – probably the best eyeliner I’ve ever come across! The fine, not-too-flexible nib allows for the ultimate fine line, and achieving the perfect flick is super easy. Birthday Suit is a really soft, champagne taupe – it’s perfect as a base or alone. Me love.
Finally, on my lips I’ve been opting for the YSL Gloss Volupte (£21) in 20, a really chic soft nude with a hint of golden shimmer. This is just about everything I want from a lip product, despite not being a gloss kinda girl.
Have you tried any of these?
