Before I start waffling on about the products, can we all appreciate that I had made it to 94 of these posts? Ultimate commitment. Anyway, here’s all I’ve been loving this week…
I want to mention the brilliant R+Co Rockaway Salt Spray (£23) first as it’s been my BFF recently, I’m truly fawning over this brand as the products are so much fun yet really get to work on my hair. My hair is quite thin and fine but this really expands it, adding a touch of wave and a bit of shine too. It’s so light that it can be applied to dry hair, and my hair doesn’t feel thick with product after use. And just look at that packaging.
Another new in product is the Eylure Brow Crayon (£6.45) which has just been launched; I’m usually pretty loyal to my beloved Brow Wiz but I gave this a go after finishing BW and now I’m hooked. It manages to shape and define the brows without looking heavy or unnatural and you can actually create hair-like strokes in the brow so they look thick and full. It also has a sharpener at the end which makes life so easy!
I pulled out the Bobbi Brown CC Cream (£29) this week after somehow managing to lose it in an unused handbag. Don’t ask. This stuff is amazing, it’s meant to be used like a tinted primer more than anything else but it truly perfects my skin, somehow managing to minimise my spots and uneven tone. I like to use it under my base, but it does work well with just concealer applied over the top if you like a really sheer result. Oh, and I have the shade Warm Nude.
Finally, my skincare love of the week: Mario Badescu Special Cucumber Lotion (£14.95). I use this a few times a week to help heal up any blemishes, and to stop new ones from popping up. I really love this formula, it manages to freshen up my skin and also exfoliate it gently so it looks clear and healthy in no time. It’s definitely something worth looking in to if you suffer from blemishes.
Have you tried any of these?
