Although I think of myself as being pretty low maintenance on a day to day basis (at least, when it comes to my makeup), I do take pride in my brows so I always sit down and do my brow routine properly. In light of this confession, I’d like to introduce you to some of my favourite products…
The Liz Earle Brow & Eyeliner Brush (£12.50) is one of my favourite eyebrow finds ever – and brush finds, for that matter. I honestly think the reason my brows look neat and a good shape is all down to this brush – it’s just perfect. The ‘liner’ end means you get a really straight shape to the brows, and it works with all products – cream, gels, powders – so you can really tailor it to suit you. I highly recommend you give this a go!
I tend to use the above with either the Anastasia DipBrow Pomade in Blonde (£15) or the Tarte Amazonian Clay Brow Mousse (£24) – the Tarte offering actually comes with a really great brush, but something makes me want to use the Liz Earle one more! Although these sound like they would be quite similar, they’re not all that alike. I tend to use the DipBrow for everyday use, it’s a little lighter and matches my actual brow colour. It’s super creamy and impossible to go wrong with, you can just brush it through your brows and it clings to skin and hair for a really natural yet defined look.
The Tarte mousse is a lot harder, and the shade I have (medium brown) is a lot darker – I tend to use this when I want quite a strong brow. It’s a really great product, so easy to apply and a budge-free formula too.

Also here is the Soap & Glory Arch De Triumph Brow Pencil (£9), I use this more to highlight my brow bone than anything else, but it is quite a good brow pencil if you prefer to use them. I’m a gel/cream/mousse girl at heart now I’ve discovered that Liz Earle brush!
I also use the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (£22) to help shape the brows a little better, I just sweep it on to my brow bone and along the top of my brow to conceal any small hairs and generally neaten up the brows. It works a treat, and also helps to minimise redness if you’ve had a quick pluck. Sexy.
Finally, my top product at the moment – Topshop Highlighter in Polish (£9). As you have probably noticed, I cannot get enough of this stuff right now! I use it everywhere, and I have discovered it offers a really natural highlight to the brow bone too. It’s the last step in my routine, but one I couldn’t skip out.
Have you tried any of these?
