Thomas & Friends: Merry Winter Wish DVD Review + Giveaway

I think I’ve told you before, but my husband was a huge Thomas fan when he was little. Shortly before Evan was born he went out and bought several Thomas DVDs because he wanted to share them with Evan one day. Much to his delight, Evan is now a huge fan of Thomas and all trains. We were recently sent the Thomas & Friends: Merry Winter Wish DVD to add to our collection.

Synopsis:
Next stop, Winter Wonderland! Join Thomas and his friends as they celebrate the holidays in these four enchanting tales. Thomas has a special delivery for the season – the Star of Knapford, a festive light that makes wishes come true! The children are excited for the Snowman Party in the Town Square but it’s up to Thomas to find the snowman a special hat before the party can begin. Watch Bash, Dash and Ferdinand prepare for the first ever Misty Island Christmas party. Then Henry helps Sir Topham Hatt prepare a secret holiday surprise for all of Sodor. The more friends the merrier, so join the fun and see that winter wishes do come true with Thomas & Friends!

Our Thoughts:
With Evan being such a huge Thomas fan, he was thrilled when this DVD arrived and couldn’t wait to watch it. Yesterday we saw two huge Christmas trees being put up in Walmart and he wanted to come home to watch Thomas & Friends: Merry Winter Wish so he could see what Thomas does during the holidays. As a mom who often has to watch these shows, I definitely prefer the new CG animation over the older Thomas shows. I think it is really fantastic!

Thomas & Friends: Merry Winter Wish was released October 12th and has a run time of about 50 minutes. The DVD would make a great gift for any Thomas fan!
