DownEast Basics Winter Women’s & Girls Clothing + Giveaway – TWO WINNERS

I live in the south east, so we don’t get a full blown winter like many of you. We’re just now to the point where we start to bring out the winter wardrobe. DownEast Basics recently emailed me with their latest styles and I immediately fell in love. They sent me the Vintage Girl Coat and Isabella the Prima Ballerina Skirt.

I got the Vintage Girl Coat in the turkish coffee(brown) color. I really love the look of this coat and was hoping that I could wear it even when pregnant. At 29 weeks, I have quite a belly and it looks a little odd with this jacket, but I still look forward to wearing it next winter. The jacket is actually made out of 100% cotton and very light which is great for those of us that live in the south, or would work well for those of you in cooler climates during the fall and spring. It features two pockets which is a must for moms, and has very pretty detail. Their pictures are better than mine, so here is the back in the burnt olive color.

This was the picture from the catalog-seriously cute, right?

Until I got an email from them, I had no clue that DownEast Basics carried girl clothes. I had an extremely hard time choosing a piece for Isabella. There were so many that I wanted. I finally decided on the Prima Ballerina Skirt which is perfect for holiday parties and church! It is offered in either a size 2 or 4, and since her 2s are becoming too short thanks to her long legs, I asked for it in a 4 and it swallows her. I feel confident she’ll be able to wear it next year. LOL, she refused to take off her monkey pjs to get a picture with the skirt.

Here it is on the little girl in the catalog.
