Margaux & May 100% Organic Cotton Muslin Blankets + Giveaway {Three Winners}

Having recently had my 3rd child, it has been quite fun trying out all the “new must haves” in baby land. These Marguax & May 100% organic cotton muslin blankets are definitely a “must have”. I own a couple of other muslin blankets, which I love, but there is definitely something special about these. First off they are huge… like so big I am fighting off my big kids for them. They don’t believe they are baby blankets, because they do not LOOK like baby blankets. They measure 47x47inches and are perfect to cover even my 10 year old. My middle child was a blanket baby in his past, and I could just see these blankets drawing him back! Of course, they are perfect for swaddling a baby and will definitely continue to be a special blanket as the child gets older.

I received the two pack of swaddle blankets. Neither is your typical “baby” blanket. The first blanket has a pretty, non-gender specific feather pattern. The feathers are a dark hunter green color.

The second is slightly animal print with splashes of turquoise. If this is your first baby or you plan on having more, no need to stress about pink or blue! These patterns will easily work perfect for every baby.

The best thing about these muslin blankets are that they are SO soft. They continue to get softer with each wash, which makes them perfect for babies. My daughter has already become quite attached to hers – its handy because while she won’t take a pacifier she WILL suck on this blanket.
They are also super versatile. We live in Texas and the last thing I want to do is cover the baby with a blanket. Sadly it’s a necessity to keep the sun off of her while heading to and from all of our activities (Poor third baby!). These blankets are perfect for draping over the carseat, and they still allow air to pass through. *Note there is no baby currently in carseat… for display purpose only!

I have also used them for a nursing cover. They are big enough to cover me completely while nursing on the go, and still light enough to not bother baby or get her too hot. Need a blanket for tummy time? It can do that as well! Plenty big enough for baby to roll around and still stay comfortably on the blanket. I told you they were awesome!

There are two things I am sure to grab when heading out the door…. diapers & one of these blankets. As long as I have those two things, I am seriously pretty much ready for anything (I always have a change of clothes in my car!).

They seem a bit pricy at first glance, but these are definitely cheaper than other Muslin blankets I have purchased, and their quality is right on par.
