We are avid readers at our house. We have books in every room and we make sure to take the time to read with our children. I feel like this is important bonding time with them and helps them gain a love for reading. Research has shown that an access to books helps children succeed academically. Unfortunately, some 60% of low income families have no books.

Capital One and The Heart of America Foundation are working to change that with their new campaign, Book by Book.
