Home Tour & Update.

As promised, here’s a little video version of what you’ve seen so far. It’s not really a home tour because I don’t feel like we’re quite ready to show you everything just yet, but it’s kind of a homeware haul and a little update in one.

Just look at those white floors – I was a little bit undecided about them at first but it was the easiest option in two of the rooms; the floors had already been painted and it would have been a massive, expensive job to strip them back (though maybe we will one day) so painting was the easiest and cheapest way.

I’m actually super pleased I did it as it transforms the room – and you can throw down a good few rugs and it always looks homely.

I said I might stop blogging daily and try to turn my attention to YouTube… I’m not sure how I feel about this as blogging is truly my passion. Filming doesn’t come naturally to me and, if I’m honest, I don’t find it as engaging as writing and photographing. I kind of fall in love with it for periods of time until I get put off again, but maybe this time I can persevere! I’d like to do more home videos but most of that goes on Nouvelle really.

We shall see! I’m not really selling myself here am I.
