A Luxe Haul.

I have to ‘fess up and admit that I haven’t treated myself to anything new beauty-wise for so long, but after a mooch around Space NK I knew I had to pick up some essentials. Here’s a little look at what I got…

The reason I popped in was to get a bottle of the amazing R+Co Rockaway Salt Spray (£23), hands down the best hair product I’ve come across! I adore salt spray, I use it daily to help my hair look as if it’s full of texture with a touch of glossy grit. My boyfriend is also a huge fan, he won’t go a day without the stuff either, and he also proclaims this is the best stuff he’s used – a Jordan seal of approval is tough to achieve, folks. I love this as it adds just enough of texture to the hair, without the gritty, sticky or crispy feeling. My hair has a bit of a wave and sits nicer too – it’s an absolute dream for fringes that don’t stay! I highly recommend this stuff if you want a bit of that tousled, textured beachy look without the dirty feeling.

The second thing I picked up was the NARS Sheer Matte Foundation (£31) – I’m going for a second confession here: I sometimes really like matte skin. I prefer to opt for a really natural, skin-like base, and then I can sweep on a bit of illuminator or highlighter afterwards. I haven’t given this much of a try just yet as I’ve been away, but so far I like it – it’s good coverage with a natural, healthy finish, and it’s not too matte that skin looks chalky. It has just ever so slightly dewy result that I think is super flattering. I’ll keep you updated on my thoughts…
