As I mentioned earlier in the month, I’ve been trying to make my skincare routine all natural. Since I made the switch, my skin has never been clearer, so I’m desperate to keep it up. Luckily, most of the products and brands I like aren’t too pricey, so I thought I’d round up my favourites…
Nourish Balance Detoxifying Cleanser (£13) is a little something I’ve been using in recent weeks, unlike your average purifying cleanser aimed at oily/blemish-prone skin, this is a lovely hydrating creamy formula that doesn’t strip the skin. It’s probably the only balancing product I’ve used that hasn’t left my skin feeling all tight and uncomfortable. I use it daily, usually in the mornings, to refresh, purify and balance my skin. It’s just dreamy, leaving my skin feeling and looking its best.
I tend to use the above with my Konjac Charcoal Sponge (£7.99), one of my most recommended skincare picks right now! This all-natural wonder is infused with lots of skin-loving nutrients, so while you’re pampering your skin you can really ensure you’re helping it in the long run too. This bamboo charcoal version is for those who suffer with blemishes and blackheads, and it’s certainly worked for me!
Another cleanser I use daily is the Weleda Almond Soothing Cleansing Lotion (£9.95), a creamy makeup remover that wipes away every trace of the day, while ensuring my skin looks great and feels super soothed. It’s so lovely to apply after a long day, and I really feel like this has sorted my skin out. I’m dying to try more from Weleda, as everything I’ve tried has been incredible.
My other pick from the brand is the Weleda Purifying Lotion (£9.95) – I am obsessed with this stuff! I wish they made it in huge bottles as I seem to be going through it quicker than I thought! I honestly cannot rave about this enough, it’s completely saved my skin and really leaves my complexion to clear and glowing. It’s a lotion that can be applied after cleansing and toning, it’s a mild astringent and also contains essential oils and calendula to heal and revive the complexion. It is a dream for acne and really leaves this skin so soft, nourished and supple. I highly recommend!
A couple of other recommendations from me include the REN Clarifying Toner (£12), a lovely mild exfoliating toner that sloughs away dead skin cells and leaves the complexion bright and radiant. It’s not at all harsh, and I love that it contains only the best ingredients. I usually apply it a couple of times per week to give my skin a boost!
Finally, I had to include Bio-Kult Probiotics (£13.45), I’ve been taking these for a month or so now and I think they help so much – not just with my skin but with digestion and feeling more energised too. I really recommend them, I try to take them daily or as I remember and it seems to be doing the trick.
Have you tried any of these?
