I’ve been wanting my kids to have something other than the Easter Baskets you can buy at any store, but I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on something they’ll use for a few days out of the year. I searched online and found that many people are selling hand painted buckets. I thought they were really cute and as I always do, I dove into the project thinking that it couldn’t be that hard. Sure enough, it wasn’t. I’m no artist(obviously), but they didn’t turn out that bad!
I bought these buckets for $3.99 each at Tractor Supply(this is not sponsored – just sharing a great price), and spray painted the girls’ buckets white.

I left Evan’s silver. To make them more special, I put their hand prints on the bottom. Does anyone know of anything I can put on top of it so they don’t scrape off? Maybe acrylic paint or modge podge?

I let the older kids paint on the inside. They aren’t done yet, I took these while waiting for their first colors to dry before they kept going.

I put their names on the back of the buckets, and then I was done.

I had all of the paints on hand from previous projects, so I only paid the $3.99 per bucket! If you have to buy paint, it wouldn’t cost more than a couple dollars more than that. The paints are often on sale at craft stores for about 30 cents per tube, and I used the $1 can of spray paint for the girls buckets that I also had on hand.
