Parenting Questions Answered – What To Keep?

As Kallie Jane continues to get older, I have to make the decision on what baby items to keep and what to part with. I had a brother and sister that were much younger than I was and my mom kept several clothing items as well as some baby gear. I’m grateful that she kept most of it and I specifically remember that Evan wore the Osh Kosh overalls that she kept and she had a high chair and swing that we were able to use at her house.

I know that I will keep the outfits that they had from the hospital as well as all the personalized shirts and dresses(maybe we’ll make a quilt with them one day), but I’m not sure what else to keep. The hoarder in me wants to hold on to much of it since my brother is getting married next year and will need these things before long, but my practical side knows that we simply don’t have the space to keep holding on to everything.

For those of you with older children, is there anything that you’re glad you kept? Anything you got rid of and now wish you would have held on to? If you have babies, what do you plan on keeping?
