It’s that time of year where I stack up all my beauty samples (from all the GWPs!), stock up on suncream and shake up my routine to make way for the beauty products that will help me look and feel a little more holiday ready. My summer holiday isn’t for a few weeks yet, but I do like to get the prep in early…
As I always say, no pamper routine is complete without a good body polishin’ – I am really tucking in to my & Other Stories Belleville Bakery Body Scrub (£5) at the moment. I can’t even sum up how much I love this stuff, it’s the best exfoliating scrub ever. Imagine a polishing, gooey scrub that lathers up on contact with skin, resulting in an effortless routine for instantly smooth, supple skin – and then multiply that by a million. You’re getting there. Then there’s the scent… good Lord, the scent. You get the idea.
I also have a lot of time for the latest Clarins tanning release, the Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster (£23.40). Clarins do the best self-tanners ever, in my humble opinion, and these tanning drops are something else. I’ve had the face version for a while, and I’m so happy there’s a body version to match. You can tailor the result to suit you, I use maybe three drops per blob of body lotion and that works for me. It’s a simple way to get a lovely dose of colour!
One product that I absolutely swear by for pre-summer preening is the This Works Perfect Heels Rescue Balm (£16), easily the best foot cream ever. After spending an entire winter in boots, my feetsies need some TLC – which is where this comes in. It’s an exfoliating balm that works to reduce hard skin and overall pamper the feet – even one use (I apply it at night and put some cotton socks on) really does wonders for unsightly feet!
Finally, a new release and something I just have to have a small squeal about – Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Shimmering Body Oil. Yup, it’s a thing and it’s just as delicious/incredible/nourishing as you would expect – it smells heavenly, has just the right amount of shimmer, and a whole lot of softening action from the dry oil. Plus the packaging is SO pretty.
Have you tried any of these?
