Holiday Gift Guide – VTech® InnoTab® MAX Learning Tablet + Giveaway {$110 ARV}

VTech provided us with an InnoTab MAX to facilitate this review.

Ready or not – it is time to start thinking about Holiday shopping if you haven’t already! I wanted to start with a kid item to kick off my Holiday Gift Guide. The VTech InnoTab Max Learning Tablet would make a fantastic gift for any kid ages 3-9 on your list this year. We had the opportunity to test out the first two versions of the InnoTab, and I am very excited about this 4th generation kids’ learning tablet featuring its fastest processor yet with up to six times the processing power of previous generations and a 7” high-resolution multi-touch screen display.

All three of my children love the InnoTab MAX. My oldest loves that it has an enhanced 2nd generation version of Premium VTech Kid Connect™, allowing him to send voice and text messages, photos, drawings and fun stickers in real time to our smartphones. That feature is also helping my 5 year old learn to spell new words. Check out this video to learn a little more about VTech Kid Connect.

The Tablet comes with 15 apps including Premium VTech® Kid Connect, My Magic Beanstalk, Movie Maker, Art Studio, Wonder Cam Max, E-Reader with Story Dictionary and more. It also comes with one free Toca Boca app and two additional free apps that can be downloaded from the Learning Lodge. We also have access to more than 650 educator-endorsed, age and stage appropriate learning titles as well as carefully cultivated educational Android apps from the Learning Lodge.

The InnoTab MAX has so many great features. This picture of the back shows the handle and space for the stylus to go. It includes a built-in rechargeable Lithium battery and kid-safe Wi-Fi so kids can explore appropriate online games, videos and websites that have been pre-selected by VTech. The parental controls allow parents to manage their child’s apps, web access and tablet time, as well as view a progress log.

Kids love to learn – as long as it is fun. I have no problem with my children using a tablet in moderation. The InnoTab Max provides us with a wealth of educational games to keep my children engaged and excited about learning.
