5 Things An Accessories Update

It’s summertime (apparently… looks out of window, looks back at computer, looks out of window) which means it’s entirely acceptable to stock up on accessories. Sunglasses, clutch bags, hair crowns… all the essentials.

I had to get a clutch bag to go with my outfit for an upcoming wedding, and I didn’t want to go with the standard white or pink to match my outfit, so in the end I went with this not-so-subtle pick. I thought it was the only one I would find that I would use again, and it’s something a bit different! This is the Star Mela Dora Purse (£35), a cute ASOS find that I’m very pleased with. Ideal for just about any occasion and the pops of pink are adorable!

I also picked up this ASOS Open Leaf Cuff Bracelet (£8), a lovely rose gold bangle with two little leaves on each end. I wanted something simple and easy to throw on, as I hate the hassle of bracelet clasps! Not a real girl. The cuff is SO delicate, I feel like I might break it at some point…

My other ASOS accessory buy was a pair of sandals – I’m usually super picky about shoes, but when I spied these ASOS Frampton Suede Fringe Sandals (£25), I fell in love. So simple yet so chic – I’m even considering buying them in another colour!

I also picked up a few rose gold jewellery pieces at H&M, who are (as usual) killing it with their accessories. I found a couple of really simple necklaces, a lovely copper and marble bracelet that broke before I had the chance to wear it – I can’t find a replacement either, and I threw out the receipt. I also bought this incredible gold headband a month or so ago, and in that time I still haven’t figured out how to wear it! Can anyone enlighten me? Being a girl is hard.

I picked up a cheap pair of sunglasses too, I never buy high street sunglasses as I find they break too easily but I thought these Topshop cat eye sunglasses (£16) were worth the risk. So cute, and really flattering on the face!

Lastly, I have here the Aspinal of London Marylebone Bucket Bracelet (£75), a gorgeous studded cuff that I’m in love with! I love simple accessories like this, they’re so easy to wear.
