I don’t have any pets, but my kids really love to destroy my carpet. I don’t care what kind of sippy cup it is, there are times when the valve isn’t in “just right” and it leaks – everywhere. I have a strict “No pets allowed” policy in my house, but my kids destroy my carpet worse than any pets ever could. Between juice, food, and potty training accidents over the past 3 years, my carpet has really suffered. We built our house just 4 years ago, but it is for sale and we need to keep the carpet looking as fresh as possible. I need to stay on top of new stains and am very thankful to have the SpotBot to help me(for new and old stains). It comes with two small bottles of cleaner and the tank tells you how to fill it depending on what you’re using it for. I wanted to go over the set in stains, so we used the lines to fill it with the combination of cleaner/water that it needed.

Once you fill the tank with the combination that you need, you choose how you want to clean your floor. If you choose the surface stain, you set it on the spot and it goes for about 3 minutes. It will tell you when it is done. For Set in stains, it takes about 6 minutes. We can walk away and tend to other things while the SpotBot cleans, which is by far my favorite feature. You can also use the hose for quick cleaning, or for spaces that you can’t get to by using the whole SpotBot.

I’m almost embarrassed to show this, but I know most of you have kids and will understand. This is a stain that had set in for about 3 or 4 days because we never saw this sippy spill. Here it is before and after the SpotBot did its thing. Even after the SpotBot cuts off, the formula/cleaner still works on the spill for 24 hours. This was taken right after the SpotBot was done, but when it was completely dry, we didn’t see the stain anymore at all.

I almost never use the hose because the machine does an awesome job on its own, but I like the fact that I have the option to use it on my stairs.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the SpotBot. It came in especially handy when a stomach virus hit our house. I could just put it on top of the spot and it would clean while I walked away and tended to my sick kids(including my husband). Not only does it clean amazingly well, but it allows me to walk away and do something else.
